Part Time Groundskeeper

The WATSON STREET MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (WSMDC), an instrumentality of the Housing Authority of the City of Camden is seeking Part-Time Groundskeeper for its Property Management Department.

Under direction of the Property Manager or designee, perform routine work involved in the care and maintenance of buildings, grounds of a public housing development: do other related duties as required.

Previous groundskeeper experience is preferred. As a Groundskeeper, you must be trustworthy and dependable with a solid work ethic and good organizational skills. Successful candidates will be subject to satisfactory drug and criminal background screenings before hiring.

Hourly Rate: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour.

Required Qualifications and Education:  The minimum educational qualification required to be a Groundskeeper is a High School Diploma or GED. Prior two (2) years of work experience in grounds keeping and/or property maintenance experience preferred.

• An acceptable general criminal background check.
• Must have a current valid New Jersey Motor Vehicle Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
